Yet one of the oldest city of Mogul Empire is Aurangabad in Maharastra( India). As soon as you enter the city you shall enter back into time some 400 years back.
Bibi-ka-makabara is the most prominent monument of which photo you can see above.
Although it resembles Taj Mahal of Agra , there are many differences.Probably it resembles due to that fact that both are Mogul Empire buildings.
But the people most from other countries come here to visit cave temples of Ellora which 30 kms from the city and the Buddist cave temple of Ajanta which are some 150 kms from the city.Ajanta caves have the famous paintings illustrating the life of Buddha. These are very famous places and are world heritage places.Taxis for the tourists are available. Also there are organized tour operators available . Hotels and other services for the tourists are at the level which can satisfy tourists from other nations.Usually all hotels have network for the smooth arrangements of tours. Indian and Western food both can be requested at the hotels.
