Escape from the heat of the tropical Sun and enjoy the spectacular snow of the central Himalayas in the small horse-shoe shaped small town called Almora. The city of Almora is well connected by road from all major Indian cities. If you wish to travel by air the nearest airport is at Pant Nagar in Nainital. It must, however, be noted that regular flights are operational only in summer months. People who will prefer to travel by train too should not find any difficulty. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam. The beauty of Almora is spellbinding and it compells people to come back again and again.
